Sold Out

Hand painted by me in acrylics and watercolors of my grandmother Dottie West and Loretta Lynn, talking at the Grand Ole Opry (Ryman building). Size is 20x24”

This was an actual black and white historical photo of the two of them that has been recreated with lots of color which is my signature style. I LOVE their dresses. This is the first time I have painted my grandmother in this particular era of her career. My grandmother became an Opry member in 1964 and Loretta did in 1962. Both are considered female pioneers in Country Music history and I love depicting this time period. This would make a great collector’s item for anyone that appreciates historical country music.

Does not come framed, may be displayed framed or unframed. Painting comes with a framed signed certificate of authenticity, with copy of the original black and white photo and free shipping to the continental US.
